What you do all day
A farm that keeps asking for a hand
SpaceSheep is a co-operative herding game: gentle when the pasture is calm, busy when the sky opens up.
Herd the flock
Nudge sheep along fences and pasture, keep the herd together, and walk the stragglers back before they wander off.
Carry, throw, rescue
Pick a sheep up, haul it over a rope bridge, and throw it clear when the path gives way under you.
Watch the sky
A saucer drifts over the farm on its own business. Look away too long and its beam takes a sheep.
Weather and wildlife
Tornadoes, windbombs and wild dogs turn a quiet afternoon into a busy one. Every storm passes.
Rebuild what breaks
Bridges wear out with every crossing and portals cut the trip short. Patch the route so the herd keeps moving.
Two shepherds, one farm
Host a room, share the code, and let a friend join from their own device. Camera, flock and weather stay in sync.
A round on the farm
Four things to keep in mind
Rounds are short and forgiving: there is room to wander, panic a little, and still bring the herd home.
- 1
Gather the flock
Head for the stragglers and push them gently toward the gate. Sheep follow the flock, so the first few do most of the work.
- 2
Carry them across
A sheep that will not walk gets carried. Hold it while you cross, and throw it clear if the bridge starts to give.
- 3
Keep an eye on the saucer
The saucer picks its moment. Pull your flock out of the beam before it locks on, and keep moving.
- 4
Deliver before the round ends
Every sheep that reaches the pen counts. Weather the storm, mend the bridges, and get as many home as you can.
Two shepherds
Host a room, share the code
Play alone or bring a friend. One player hosts the round and reads out the code; the other joins from their own phone or tablet.
Host
Start the round, open the farm, and pass the room code to your friend. The host keeps the pace, the flock and the weather.
- Your own character, your own device
- Six-character join code, no account needed
Join
Type the code and you are on the same farm. Each player sees the whole flock and keeps their own camera on their own shepherd.
- Join by code from anywhere
- Solo play works offline
Built to be played by everyone
Accessibility is part of the farm
SpaceSheep was built for the Apple accessibility frameworks from the first screen, not bolted on at the end.
VoiceOver
Menus, lobby and the in-round HUD are labelled and announced with the Apple accessibility APIs, so a screen reader can read the farm.
Dynamic Type
Text follows the Dynamic Type size you set on the device, and can switch to a readability face that is easier to scan.
Increase Contrast
A higher-contrast appearance turns translucent parts solid and pushes every border to pure ink. This website carries the same switch, in the header.
Visible and audible cues
Sounds the game plays also appear on screen: nearby sheep, a blast, a dog closing in, and captions for what just happened.
Input your way
Touch controls by default, with gyroscope steering and, on iPhone, ARKit head tracking. Haptic feedback underlines the important moments.
Motion and pacing
Reduced motion is respected by the game and by this site, and a round keeps a calm, readable pace from start to finish.
The header's contrast button mirrors the game's Increase Contrast mode.
Still from the farm
Every screenshot is a real build
The farm is hand-painted art on a 3D ground plane, lit once and left alone so the flock stays readable from the game's fixed three-quarter camera.

Questions
Things people ask us
When is SpaceSheep out?+
It is in development now. The store links on this page stay switched off until release; write to us and we will tell you the day they go live.
Which devices will it run on?+
iPhone and iPad first, Android alongside it, and the desktop builds we play on during development.
Can I play on my own?+
Yes. Solo rounds run on one device. Two-player rounds need a second player and an internet connection.
How does the join code work?+
The host starts a room and reads out a short code. Anyone with that code joins the same farm from their own device, no account required.
Does it support screen readers and larger text?+
It does. VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Increase Contrast and on-screen cues are built into the game; the accessibility section above lists what each one changes.
I found a bug or want to send feedback+
Please write to us from the support page. Screenshots and the device you played on help more than anything else.
